Settlers Inn Holiday Recipe: Shrimp & Saffron Sauce
8 Jumbo Shrimp
2 cups Heavy Cream
2 cups Orange Juice
1 Vanilla Bean
1 pinch Saffron
1 cup chopped Beets
1 cup chopped Turnips
1/2 cup Arborio Rice
2. Sautée the beets and turnips until soft and then add the Arborio Rice. Add vegetable stock a little at a time and inner until rice is tender.
3. Sautee shrimp with salt and pepper until cooked.
