Friday: Explore in and around Jim Thorpe.

Evening: How about some nighttime snow tubing? It’s an easy and exciting way for everyone to enjoy the slopes! Blue Mountain offers twilight tubing as late as 9 p.m. With magic carpet lifts taking you to the top, the only thing you’ll need to worry about is sliding down the lanes as many times as possible.

Saturday: Journey through the heart of the Poconos.

Morning: Start your engines! All-terrain vehicles are revved up and ready to roll all year-long! Enjoy guided ATV tours with Alvin’s Offroad Playground and Pocono ATVs at Memorytown USA. Weather permitting, join Pocono Outdoor Adventure Tours for UTV excursions over the snowy trails.

Afternoon: Spend Saturday afternoon enjoying WinterFest in Downtown Stroudsburg! Safari ice sculptures will be featured in front of local businesses, and you'll also find life-size snowmen painted by local artists. Take a stroll and explore the town's one-of-a-kind boutiques, galleries and shops, such as Dunkelberger's Sports Outfitter, which has been a Stroudsburg staple storefront for 40 years.

Shake off the cold with an authentic meal watch the Hibachi chefs and sample the renowned sushi menu at desaki.

Evening: Skiers and snowboarders, the slopes are calling! From first chair to night skiing, the Pocono Mountains' six ski areas, like Camelback Mountain and Shawnee Mountain, have something for all abilities including world-class learning programs - the perfect opportunity to get your friends and family hooked on the sport like you. Sunday: Scout out hiking trails and beverage trails.

Morning: Ever been snowshoeing? Now’s your chance! Take advantage of the winter season by exploring the beautiful outdoors in a group or self-guided excursion. With snow on the ground, state and local parks like Promised Land State Park offer trails for unsupervised trips open from dawn until dusk.

Afternoon: Seeking more adventure? Take on a winter hike! In the Poconos, there are over 250 hiking trails to explore year-round. Pocono Environmental Education Center offers hikes throughout the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area where you may spot a waterfall or two. Be careful of the conditions while hiking, and be prepared for the weather on your wintery trek.

Now that you've worked up an appetite, journey to Milford and take a food break at Bar Louis at the Hotel Fauchere for house cocktails and specials. 

Evening: Explore local breweries in the area. Microbreweries have popped up across the region with a focus on tasty sustainability. Jam Room Brewing Company and Wallenpaupack Brewing Company use local ingredients to handcraft beers. Like grapes, too? Don’t forget to visit Pocono wineries!

Monday: Experience the beauty of the Pocono Mountains.

Morning: It doesn’t get much more majestic than a bald eagle in flight. Try to spot one while eagle watching! Explore the Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River and Lackawaxen River through a self-guided tour.

Afternoon: Experience our region with a ride on the rails. Join The Stourbridge Line for their Winter Wonderland train trips this holiday weekend. The Express trip departs from Hawley, or visitors can opt for a longer trip on the Limited excursion from Honesdale. You may even spot a bald eagle overhead as the train makes its way along the river.
