Children's Meditation Circle
Meditation is the process of turning inward, calming the mind and practicing presence. Teaching children to focus on their breath and on their present moment will help to improve their concentration, behavior problems, reduce stress, anxiety and depression and more. Mindfulness is intimately connected to self-awareness and extends naturally to self-regulation. If you learn to be aware of your thought processes and reactions in the present moment, you will be more in charge of your emotions and behaviors. Meditating inspires compassion and kindness, a happier, more resilient, respectful sense of self, others and the world. This event will take place on July 20th and August 24th.
