Fermented Foods 101
Learn the basics of how to make kefir, kombucha and sauerkraut at home! And, while you can certainly purchase any of these items from a grocery store or health food store, with a little time, love and care, you can make them at home!
Three different community members with a love for these fermented foods will be leading the workshop: MaryAnne Carletta, Alicia Anderson and Ryanne Jennings.
Each will have samples for you to give a try and see how you like them. Fermented foods like kefir, kombucha an sauerkraut are all proven to have positive health effects because of their natural probiotics, which help with “gut health” and building a healthy immune system.
