Beltzville State Park
Enjoy a day out at Beltzville State Park.
Beltzville State Park is located in Carbon County. The park is along Pohopoco Creek with recreation areas around Beltzville Lake. The lake spans 949 acres with a shoreline of 19.8 miles. Fishing in Beltzville Lake is popular. The lake is also ideal for boating. There are 15 miles of trails for hiking and biking. Trails vary in length, following wooded paths, old roads and mowed walkways. At the suggestion of local residents, an original covered bridge, built across Pohopoco Creek in 1841, has been relocated between the picnic areas and the beach for public use. This bridge was first used by horse and buggy traffic. It is now for pedestrian use only.-
