Many clear mountain streams originate in the forest and tumble down to the Delaware River over stunning waterfalls. Streams provide excellent trout fishing while warm water fishing is good at many of the lakes and ponds. Catch views of Stairway and Savantine Falls on your way to the Forest. The cascades can be seen just off Route 6 - no hiking required.
