Kurmes Paradise Creek Nature Preserve - Hiking
The Kurmes Preserve is a 400-acre property in Cresco, PA that is divided into two sections, each with their own parking area and trailhead.
The northern section, features Devils Hole Road a 1.9 mile lightly trafficked loop trail that features hemlock, rhododendron, mountain laurel and vernal pools. This hike is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking and nature trips and is accessible year-round. The southern section features a short .75 mile loop trail. You can access the trail from 289 Phoebe Snow Road. The habitat in this area is mainly dry upland with mixed oak species.Back to Top
