Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm
Step back in time and celebrate farm life at this historic homestead. Learn about everything from farm animals to gardening and heritage crafts to old time games. See how our ancestors cooked over a fire or spun wool from the sheep and so much more.
Quiet Valley hosts three major festivals each year: Farm Animal Frolic the last two weekends in May, Harvest Festival on Columbus Day weekend in October, and Old Time Christmas the first two weekends in December. Farm Animal Frolic's focus is on the farm animals. Guests can meet the babies up close and personal. Great for the younger kids. Harvest Festival, our largest event, is all about heritage craft and harvest demonstrations, folk entertainment, country foods and many other activities. Old Time Christmas is a glimpse of an 1800s holiday where guides in period clothing lead you by lantern light around the farm. All are welcome to discover the sights, sounds and traditions of a 19th century farm during these family-friendly events.-
