The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is a 27-hole golf course situated on an island in the middle of the Delaware River. Shawnee’s championship golf course is an original A. W. Tillinghast design, it was the location of 1938 PGA Championship, it was the site of the 1967 NCAA Championships and is the home of the Tillinghast Golf Academy. Shawnee has been graced by golf greats such as Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, Walter Hagen, Paul Runyon and others. Shawnee is a prime location for corporate outings, golf groups, golf lessons or a simple golf getaway.
