Tumbling Waters Trail
Learn Naturally! Discover the Tumbling Waters Trail at the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC).
The Tumbling Waters Trail at PEEC was designated Pennsylvania’s best trail in 2019 by Outside Magazine. Tumbling Waters is a moderately difficult, three-mile trail. An overlook permits views of the Delaware Valley and New Jersey’s Kittatinny Mountains; a series of switchbacks leads to the impressive waterfall. A hemlock ravine, pine plantation and pond are other points of interest on this picturesque trail. PEEC's trails are open daily, year-round from dawn to dusk. Trail guides are available online and at the main building.
A private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, PEEC is the education partner of the National Park Service in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
