The studio apartment’s bed has a comfortable queen-sized Serta Perfect Memory foam mattress. We use: 100% luxurious Cuddledown cotton sheets and lots of pillows. Wake up with a Bose Radio/CD snooze alarm with an iPod docking station or choose to sleep-in.
Watch cable television or watch a DVD on the History of old Mauch Chunk, now Jim Thorpe. Relax and read history books provided on Jim Thorpe the town or Jim Thorpe the athlete along with the surrounding area. Our galley-sized self-catering efficient kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances: refrigerator, double basin stainless steel sink, dishwasher, electric range to include a microwave, electric coffee percolator, tea kettle, needed utensils, pots/pans and dishes. Complimentary breakfast goodies are included for your stay. You’ll have full use of an oak counter top bar with three oak bar stools or a kitchenette table. (Small picnic cooler and picnic table cloth available.)
The compact private bath area has a glass and brass door single shower stall, comfort height toilet, and an original white cast iron corner sink with individual hot and cold water solid brass faucets. Enjoy the eco-friendly lavender bath towels. Use of hair dryer, iron and ironing board, washer and dryer available. Complementary hotel-sized soap and shampoo provided.
Our safety features include: bathroom first aid kit, smoke detector, kitchen fire extinguisher, two studio apartment landline telephones with the same number (570-325-5074) to receive incoming calls and to call out locally. 911 available.
