The Women's Club of Honesdale enjoys serving our community. Our members are from all walks of life – retirees, housewives, professionals, business owners and life-long volunteers. Many club members have been part of this organization for more than 50 years. Life-long friendships have been made. We meet monthly sharing conversation and great food prepared by our member hospitality committee. At each monthly meeting we invite diverse and interesting people to present their talents and expertise.
The Annual Art and Antique Show and Sale is our main fundraising event that we sponsor. All proceeds from this event benefit the following community organizations, scholarships and charities:

the 2023 Remarkable Woman nominee who published a heart-warming book based on her experiences working in an elderly care facility and showing children Grandma loves her new home.
Gigi Kilroe, 
an inspiring Honesdale native and retired special education teacher who shares her wisdom and insights in her book and through speaking of resilience and strength.
Will Wyckoff, 
a former high school English teacher who supports various causes and organizations through donations from all six of his book royalties.
Roberta Griffis, 
a Honesdale native who writes captivating and lesson packed books for children, aspiring cooks and young at heart adults.
Christina Lang,
the author of a love and romance novel that will make you swoon and smile.
This year we are happy to present several beloved returning artists as well as several new artists to our venue! Noted wildlife artist Ron Orlando will once again be available with his beautiful paintings, both originals and prints. The Spirit of Gentleness Farms (Christine Bachtel and Jan Marie Traynor) are also returning with new wool pieces and demonstrations. Paintings by artist Greg Pelly, recently deceased, will also be available, purchases benefitting a trust fund for his grandchildren. New artists will bring their creativity to you as jewelry designers by The Bohemian Cat Lady (Sandy Fofi) and Playful Event (Nan Siegmund). Cathy’s Wildflowers (Cathy Noto) are creations made from pressed flowers, Photographer Barbara Nelson and Vintage character shadow boxes by John Nelson as well as three amazing woodworking artists, Mountain Man Arts LLC (Charles Lang), Rose Hill Woodwork (Scott Porosky), and Deborah Landy and Justin Garbarino's hand carved utensils and demonstration, and last but not least, Earthbright Pottery (Krista Lambert). We look forward to welcoming all to this year’s fabulous show!
