Tours are posted a week at a time & depend on staff availability
Tours is usually scheduled for 1pm & more times may be added if that tour fills up & there is available staff.

CASH IS PREFERRED (credit card processor collects 3% of every transaction!)
Under 6 are Free - No Teenage Rates during off-season tours.

These are off-season tours provided by our manager, Blaine.
The Jail is currently winterized. This means windows are insulated, temperature inside ranges from 40-50°, & our gift shop may not be fully stocked.
All tours are subject to be canceled due to an unforseen emergency.
If any of this inconveniences you, please refrain from scheduling.
Open for Season Memorial Day Weekend (End of May) & plan to be open on a regular basis until early November. There will be no reservations during our season - just come between the hours we are open.Season 2024 hours (May - October) will be posted early May.

Great for All Ages!
Cell Block
As you enter the cellblock you will be greeted by 27 cells. See how the past prisoners lived during their time served here. Towards the back of the cell block, is a replica of the gallows where four " Molly Maguires" were hanged.
Peer into Cell #17 to see the handprint left by one of the Molly Maguires proclaiming his innocence before his hanging.
The Dungeon
Creep into our eerie dungeon!
Although it is dark there will be no surprises from us. (We cannot say the same about your friends and family.) There are 16 cells & you are more than welcome to venture into them. We also encourage you to take plenty of pictures during your stay.
