GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Brand Influencer and Media Marketer will be the visual ambassador and content creator who connects the Woodloch brand with the public. This person will act as a true storyteller, focusing on video production, will be the front-of-camera personality, as well as the content curator for Woodloch’s communication channels. These channels include but are not limited to social media, digital advertising, website assets, among other key stakeholder areas.
This person will organize the communication and engagement strategy for organic digital outlets; most notably this will be in the form of on-camera storytelling. As the primary “brand influencer”, this person will inject their personality into the Woodloch brand as they escort viewers through the vast offerings across campus and throughout the multiple, diverse brands under the Woodloch name. Along with video-storytelling, this individual should have an eye for photography and be able to capture and edit moments that can assist in the overall digital story of the brand.
The person who holds this position will embody a web-savvy intelligence with a passion for helping others. They must have an eye for detail and love to learn new things. Their friendly demeanor and quick wit makes others smile and feel included. A customer service mindset is a priority and must be a storyteller, community-builder with the ability to connect in a real and genuine way.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIIES

o Develop, storyboard, film, direct, edit, and produce digital video assets relative to marketing, social media, and advertising campaigns
o Perform as the visible personality, interviewer, and subject of video assets
o Manage multiple social media campaigns, accounts and platforms simultaneously
o In collaboration with the rest of the marketing team; prepare, create, schedule, post, interact, maintain, refresh, comment, curate, share, optimize, grow, and perpetuate the content that revolves around or touches the Woodloch brand in all organic channels
o Communicate regularly with all departments across the Woodloch family of businesses to curate content
o Develop a great working relationship with members in all departments and managers
o Establish a network of content providers
o Ultimate responsibility will be to generate awareness, expand reach, encourage communication, join conversations ultimately to drive traffic and sales
o Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

o Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment helping to bring structure and deliver results
o Must be highly motivated, organized, and have excellent communication skills
o Demonstrates confidence in speaking and comfortable being in front of as well as behind the camera
o The ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills
o Must be able to work independently, and as a team player, be a quick learner and willing to adapt and change
o Will need to have a flexible schedule and plan to be “present” to document Woodloch stories when they happen

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

o Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications
o Must have experience and comfortability performing and being in front of the camera
o Adobe Creative Cloud experience – specifically Premier and After Effects
o Must be tech savvy; comfortable with cross-device applications (mobile and beyond), basic HTML, photo and video editing skills
o Portfolio of works preferred
