Today the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (PMVB) has announced expansions regarding the Pick Up the Poconos campaign.

This year’s Tourism Day , hosted by the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (PMVB) at Mount Airy Casino Resort’s newly expanded Events Center, illustrated the integral part that the tourism industry plays in the Pocono Mountains region.

Thanks to the warmer weather that arrived in mid-March, several golf courses in the Pocono Mountains are able to open a few weeks early this spring.

Along with being a time to honor those who have served in our military, Memorial Day Weekend also provides an opportunity to welcome warmer months, and the exciting activities that come along with them.

It’s the first day of spring, and the weather is steadily warming up. It’s time to come out of hibernation and celebrate the warmer weather at these spring events in the Pocono Mountains .
