PTN’s Brianna Strunk and kid reporter Zoey Gregory became one with the butterflies at Bear Mountain Butterfly Sanctuary in Jim Thorpe with owner Mari Gruber.

Here you will experience the wonder of live butterflies and exotic reptiles in a unique, hands-on education center. The facility features a Flutterarium, where nearly a dozen species of butterflies fly freely among guests. Other highlights include a kids’ art space/activity room, classroom where educational programs are held, and a nature-based gift shop.

Bear Mountain Butterfly Sanctuary is open seasonally, so make sure to stop by on or before August 28.
