Area resorts come equipped with high-speed wireless Internet, state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and fantastic amenities such as free parking, fine dining, professional spas, fitness centers and renowned golf courses on-site.
Meeting venues in the Poconos are constantly upgrading their offerings: the full-service, four-star diamond Mount Airy Casino Resort recently expanded their meeting facilities, which can now accommodate 750 guests seated or 1,200 standing, with upgrades to the sophisticated rooms and executive suites as well. New renovations doubled the size of the Kalahari Convention Center, which now covers 205,000 square feet with 18 new meeting rooms (bringing the total to 33), a sleek, 38,000+ square foot main ballroom/exhibit space, an exclusive executive conference center for up to 400 guests and more. Once you’ve completed preliminary research online, our PMCVB team can set up site tours so that you can view Pocono meeting and convention facilities for yourself. We’ll schedule your visits and set up itineraries based on your requirements. Many of our members are independent and can be more aggressive on pricing. By ground or air, attendees have a variety of transportation options as they make their way to the Pocono Mountains, and it’s a short one to three hour trip for those coming from Northeastern United States metropolitan hubs. Six interstate highways, I-80, I-81, I-84, I-78, I-380 and I-476, make the Pocono Mountains region quick and easy to reach. Transportation services like Martz Bus and Pocono Day Tripper provide chartered trips between New York City and the Poconos. While in the region, getting around is painless with rideshare and taxi services.
