Parking

Wondering where to park when visiting Jim Thorpe? Find information on parking fees and locations below!

A wealth of beautiful historic buildings packed along winding mountain streets means that parking can be limited in Jim Thorpe. Especially on weekends, traffic can be heavy entering town, so be sure to plan ahead and arrive early to secure a spot. There are parking pay kiosks located throughout Jim Thorpe, but each applies to a particular parking zone. Before you pay at a kiosk, double check that it is the appropriate kiosk for the zone that you parked in.

If you arrive later in the day and can't find parking in the main lot or on the street, consider spending the morning exploring nearby towns like Lehighton, Weissport, and Lansford, then return to Jim Thorpe later in the day when more parking spots may have opened up. Coming into town for the Jim Thorpe Fall Foliage Festival this October? Take advantage of additional weekend parking options to make your visit more convenient. You can park at Immaculate Conception Parish, use the shuttle parking services at Pocono Whitewater and Sam Miller Field, or opt for a pre-paid reserved parking shuttle that runs from Mauch Chunk Lake Park. Browse a list of Jim Thorpe parking options below.
