Pike County Semiquincentennial Parade Registration
Pike County will celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary with a Semiquincentennial Parade on July 4, 2026, beginning at 12:00 p.m. in Milford Borough. To ensure an inclusive and representative lineup, Pike County invites local nonprofits, community groups, and musical ensembles to march in the parade. Interested organizations are encouraged to register by May 15, 2026.

March 19, 2026: Flags Across the Commonwealth – Light to Unite
The Pike County Sheriff’s Office and local scouts honored the United States’ 250th anniversary with a flag-raising ceremony outside the Pike County Courthouse. The event was part of “Flags Across the Commonwealth – Light to Unite,” a statewide initiative in which a special traveling American flag is raised at each of Pennsylvania’s 67 county courthouses.

Bells Across PA
Bells Across PA
On December 6, 2025, America250PA unveiled a commemorative bell in Pike County, "Nature Rings in Pike County," at the Milford Community House as part of America250PA’s statewide Bells Across PA public art initiative. Sponsored by the Pocono Mountain Visitors Bureau and designed and painted by students and faculty from the 2025-2026 Advanced Placement Studio Art Class at Delaware Valley High School, the bell will remain on display through December 31, 2026, marking the conclusion of America’s 250th anniversary celebration.
