America’s 250th Anniversary is about more than reflecting on our past, it’s about honoring the contributions of individuals who built this country, the innovations that put this country on the map and a man on the moon, and imagining what the next 250 years might look like for our children and the generations to come. Monroe County will be honoring our history and heritage with events throughout 2026.

America250PA is accepting design submissions from Pennsylvania artists for the ‘Bells Across PA’ art series to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the United States in 2026. The selected artists will execute their designs on bell sculptures. Submit applications to Monroe County America250PA Commission, One Quaker Plaza, Rm 201, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 by April 1, 2025.
