Host Deanna Fontanez and the Pocono Television Network team visited Mountain Creek Riding Stable to try an activity you can do any season, all year long. On this visit, the crew experienced a beautiful winter horseback ride on the snowy trails.

Operations Director Felicia Fogel shared what sets Mountain Creek apart from other riding stables, “We have something to offer for everyone. We have group trail rides and private rides, which are great for proposals and anniversaries." Mountain Creek also offers wagon rides on the weekends which are popular for weddings or any occasion, allowing those in a group who may not fit the requirements for riding alone to still be able to enjoy the trails along with their family and friends. Children must be seven years of age and 50 inches tall to go out on the trail, and there is a 240-pound weight limit for riders.

Group trail rides are 45-50 minutes in duration with walking and some trotting. The private rides are also 45-50 minutes long and cater to all levels. Walking, trotting and cantering are allowed on the trails. Mountain Creek guides rides every hour on the hour, with 20 horses onsite during the winter and additional mounts available in the summer to accommodate more guests and balance the workload for their handsome boys. Felicia spoke about how each horse has its own special personality, and the PTN crew got to meet a few of them and see firsthand how great the Mountain Creek team is to their horses, attending to them with love and care. Felicia mentioned, "The horses are like our children; we don't have a business if we don't have them. All our horses are very well cared for and spoiled. We try our best to accommodate all their needs."
