Pocono Train Rides

There are several train excursion lines in the Pocono Mountains region:

• The Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway runs between Jim Thorpe, PA and White Haven, PA.
• The Stourbridge Line runs between Honesdale, PA and Hawley, PA.
• Steamtown National Historic Site, just outside of the region in Scranton, PA, runs seasonal excursions to destinations in the Pocono Mountains like Tobyhanna State Park and Gouldsboro State Park.

Most of the out-and-back, round-trip excursions with Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway last 70 minutes, departing from the historic railway station in Jim Thorpe and following the Lehigh River north to White Haven, PA before returning to Jim Thorpe.
