Glamping at Camptel Poconos

Check into your own tiny home or repurposed shipping container at the glamping campground at Camptel Poconos in Albrightsville, PA.

Albrightsville, Carbon County - Camptel Poconos is a unique business that utilizes cabins, tiny homes, and 40-foot shipping containers that are repurposed to provide the ultimate glamping experience. Each unit is outfitted with modern comforts including heating and air conditioning, a TV, Wi-Fi, kitchen area, bathroom, and comfortable bed(s).

“Every unit is themed. For instance, for the sports fans we have Speedway, which is related to Pocono Raceway and NASCAR. We also have units related to Penn State University and The New York Yankees,” said general manager Jessica Morgan.

Guests will enjoy amenities such as hot tubs, paintball/skirmish, and a full gym with a sauna – yes, all located within revamped shipping containers! “We also have a community fire pit with a life-size chess game, corn hole, horseshoes, and bocce ball as well,” explained Morgan.

The Canteen, a full-service bar and restaurant on-property, is open to guests and the public for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Camptel Poconos opened in August 2021 and continues to grow with even more units. The property is close to major attractions such as Pocono Raceway, Hickory Run State Park, Pocono Whitewater Adventures, and Jack Frost/Big Boulder Ski Area.

“Camptel Poconos is open year-round, not just seasonally. You can come and experience hiking in the summer, and in the winter be possibly snowed in from the comfort of your own cabin,” smiled Morgan.
