Lost Highway Motorcycle Show & Concert at Poconos Park | 2023 Preview

Don't miss the first big event of the season at Poconos Park in Bushkill!

With Memorial Day weekend being the unofficial kickoff to summer what could be more American than motorcycles and music?!

The weekend before Memorial Day, May 19-21, Lost Highway Motorcycle Show and Concert at Poconos Park will roar in Bushkill and Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson in Tannersville is partnering on some charity rides for that weekend.

It is the first big event of the season at Poconos Park in Bushkill. Lost Highway Motorcycle Show & Concert in mid May which is sure to bring out bikers and bikes and fans of rock 'n roll!

"We're in the good times business, we're bringing the good times with music and motorcycles," said John Oakes with Poconos Park.

Oakes and his team restarted the former Mountain Laurel Center for the Performing Arts in 2022 with its first festival in years; Cowboy Luau.

Now, Poconos Park has some big plans for the '23 season and beyond and it all start with Lost Highway featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Marshall Tucker Band.

"We're excited to bring people together. As we grow with Poconos Park we'll have different themed events," said Oakes. "There is some stuff I can't announce yet, a few things we'll make a public announcement on and annual events that will grow year over year."


Lost Highway is one of those events and you can see why it has lasting power with a partnership with Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson - the behemoth dealership of Interstate 80 in Tannersville.

"We love to bring the whole community from near from far, we all love motorcycles," said Fallon Lobb with Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson. "We come together, it's a sense of brotherhood, community. It's what we love to do."

That is why Pocono Mountain Harley Davidson is the starting point for not one, but two charity rides during the Lost Highway weekend and both are for great causes.

"Friday will be the first responders ride, Saturday will be the veterans' ride," she explained. "All the way to Poconos Park and the tickets will include entry to the concert and the festival."

"We are raising money for the local Bushkill Volunteer Fire Company," added Oakes. "A way for us to honor all first responders, bring people together around camaraderie."

Poconos Park's website will keep you updated on the upcoming events at the venue that's been brought back to life and fits perfectly in the surrounding Pocono Mountains.

"There are so many other great activities whether you live local or you're from the region or beyond, floating down the Delaware, hiking the falls, getting on a Harley and zipping around back roads," said Oakes. "There are so many fun outdoor activities in the Poconos and we are happy to have the region and Poconos Park as home."
