Luxury Picnics in the Pocono Mountains

Throughout all four seasons, indoors and outdoors, Picturesque Picnics in the Poconos provides memorable luxury picnics for special occasions.

“Instead of just your simple sit on the grass picnic, you have a whole experience for any special occasion including bachelorette parties, birthdays, anniversaries, and proposals,” said Genamarie Rosado, owner of Picturesque Luxury Picnics.

A special Valentine’s package available at Bodyworks Wellness Studio in East Stroudsburg includes a lavish picnic in the yoga studio paired with a two-hour couples massage and salt cave session. “It’s exciting because you have the luxury picnic, and now you can pair it with a luxurious spa or wellness package,” Rosado added.

Make your picnic pop by choosing the perfect color scheme. You can also select add-ons like a bubble tent, games, paint supplies, light up letters, and more. Enjoy the experience in your own home or backyard in the Poconos, at an Airbnb, or from a partnering business such as Second District Brew Farm or Sorrenti Family Estate.

“I partner with an amazing balloon decor artist, a live strings band, photographers and videographers, bakers, and people who do charcuterie boards. So, it really enhances the entire experience,” she smiled.

Owner Genamarie Rosado was born and raised in the Poconos, then moved to New York City for college. After graduation, she packed up everything and drove cross country to Los Angeles to pursue a career in television production, until the pandemic forced her to move back home a year later in 2021. Genamarie faced a challenging time trying to figure out what's next in life. Then one day, her friend sent a photo of a luxury picnic.

“She was like, ‘this is really cool’ and I said, ‘wow that is really cool, and I think I’m going to do this. I’m going to bring this to the Poconos’,” she recalled.

Her love for designing and event planning has led to a blossoming business. And now Genamarie feels home, in more ways than one. She explained, “I get to create experiences and moments for people that I wouldn't be able to do otherwise. And they get to take those memories for the rest of their lives."
