Moyer Aviation Tours

Take a sky-high adventure with Moyer Aviation, offering year-round air tours.

The Pocono Mountains is known for its scenic views that change by season, and one of the best ways to take them in is from up high! Join Bri & Dee for a sky-high adventure with Moyer Aviation, taking off from the Pocono Mountains Regional Airport in Tobyhanna.

Moyer Aviation, operated in conjunction with Access Air, offers air tours to iconic places like Lake Wallenpaupack and Delaware Water Gap, plus custom and combination tours.

While flying to Delaware Water Gap, Bri & Dee pointed out many sights along the way such as Camelback Resort, Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, Great Wolf Lodge, and the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort.

“Some people just want to fly over their home in the Poconos or see a certain valley. Another popular tour we offer is to New York City, where we fly over the Statue of Liberty and all the bridges,” said Paul Morgan, co-owner.

From ski resorts blanketed in snow to autumn leaves at their peak, there are a variety of views to see no matter what time of year you choose to fly. “There are many options. People like to enjoy the colorful leaves over a nice glass of champagne,” Paul added.

The tour is perfect for couples - proposals and other romantic occasions - or a unique adventure with friends.

“That’s the goal, to give guests the best experience they can have,” said Kevin Wood, chief flight instructor.

“The Cessna 172's we use, a four-seat aircraft, have a good track record for safety and comfort. Our pilots are commercial pilots, requiring a lot of ratings and certifications. Our aircraft is maintained under strict standards because they are also used for charter. We have an hourglass, we can’t buy time, so we save people a lot of time and make that time quality,” Paul said.

In addition to air tours, Moyer Aviation is also known for its charter service and flight school.

“Our charter program takes people to their homes or helps them expand their workplace. Our flight school helps people build careers in aviation, and our air tours improve quality of vacations and time spent together in the Poconos. It’s a permanent memory, and we take the experience from 2D to 3D. These memories are the magic moments in life, so we try to add a little bit of extra flavor to their vacation,” Paul explained.
