Jim takes us on a round-robin check-in with some of the biggest county fairs and festivals planned for this season. Starting off with Wally Lake Fest (8/26-28) featuring Wallypalooza, vendor fairs and a boat show, the Chamber of the Northern Poconos shares updates for this year's summer-ending spectacular along the Big Lake.

Also, kicking off the same weekend is the Greene-Dreher-Sterling (GDS) Fair in Newfoundland with plenty of fun for the entire family!

The Carbon County Fair is August 8-13 in Palmerton including daily ride specials and a lumberjack show with free admission!

Same timeframe, the Wayne County Fair runs August 5-13 featuring a monster truck show and new entertainment at the fairgrounds in Honesdale!

And not to be outdone, the 100th year for the West End Fair in Monroe County. Every entry ticket will provide a free carousel ride!!!
