The Swiftwater Hotel Tour | New Luxury Poconos Hospitality

Take a tour of The Swiftwater, the brand new luxury hotel now open in the Pocono Mountains!

In the hotel's grand lobby you're greeted by the owners, in art form, plus an elegant check-in area and 10 foot chandelier, among other striking features.

“It’s very grand and luxurious, you just feel class. It exudes this feeling that is hard to describe unless you walk through yourself,” said Dante Trapasso, managing partner.

Among the variety of room options are private plunge pool suites. A concierge level includes exclusive access to a concierge lounge on the top floor and upgraded amenities.

“There are so many little touches and details such as extra high water pressure, tremendous finishes, all black fixtures, and beautiful custom mattresses that are exclusive to our property,” Trapasso added.

Downstairs, the executive meeting room is great for business. And for pleasure, a cozy garden patio awaits just steps away.

“We're in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, so we wanted to make this feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, but you're also in the middle of everything,” Trapasso explained.

Enjoy the swim-in swim-out pool, heated to 90 degrees year-round. “You’ll feel warm in the middle of winter with the snow coming down all around you. In the summer, you can just sit and relax,” Trapasso added.

Let the concierge team at The Swiftwater curate your daily outings in the Pocono Mountains, whether that's an outdoor adventure such as whitewater rafting or paintballing, or something serene like golf or a scenic winery tour.

The hotel is stocked with products from local small businesses including Pocono Soap, Moka Origins, and Pocono Mountain Maple. Even the custom wallpaper in each room, the water wall monogram in the lobby, and the stunning artwork throughout the hotel were brought to life by area artists.

“We are locals, this is my home. I love the Pocono Mountains, so I want to uplift the community. I’m a big fan of ‘a rising tide lifts all boats.’ I think what we're doing here will bring awareness and attention to the Poconos as a true luxury destination, a luxury market,” Trapasso said.

The Olivet offers an on-site, elevated dining experience for breakfast and dinner, open to overnight guests and the public. Dine indoors, or al fresco. The Olivet also specializes in craft cocktails and ‘the martini experience,’ with tastes from around the world.

“A lot of the dishes are personal to us. We have a culinary team that has been picked from around the country, and we wanted to give them some autonomy. What foods excited them, what's something from their childhood?” explained Sundiata White, Food & Beverage Director.

For family fun, food, and fire, Desaki, another Trapasso family creation known for its fresh sushi and hibachi, is just a short walk away.

Back inside The Swiftwater, no design detail was overlooked. Room temperature and lighting can be adjusted from the front desk, so you arrive at the ultimate comfort and relaxation after a long day on the hiking trails or ski slopes.

Even the comment cards for guests to leave feedback are made of plantable wildflower seed paper, so you can take home a piece of The Swiftwater. “Grow with us, as we grow as a business,” Trapasso smiled.
