Summer Fun at Camelbeach with Dee and Mila
Join Deanna and Mila as they dive into sun, slides, and fun on their first-ever visit to Camelbeach.
Camelback, located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, is a four-season resort that offers unforgettable experiences no matter the time of year and recently, PTN host, Deanna Fontanez visited with her goddaughter Mila to explore all the fun that summer at Camelbeach has to offer. Known for its indoor waterpark, Aquatopia, and its winter activities like skiing and snow tubing, the resort undergoes a stunning transformation once the weather warms up, becoming Camelbeach, Pennsylvania’s largest outdoor waterpark.
“It’s such a transformation—from snow to sand and sun!” said Grace Griffaton from the Camelbeach PR team, who welcomed Deanna and Mila. “We’ve got all the water you could want on a hot day like today.” With 37 different slides and attractions, Camelbeach is a true summer playground for guests of all ages. One of the most exciting additions this year is the Rival Racer slide, featuring eight side-by-side racing lanes. “Rival Racer was such a blast,” Deanna said. “We raced Grace and a few other friends, and the best part was seeing our time and speed at the end.”
The park is packed with group-friendly rides like Sandstorm, Dune Runner, and High Noon Typhoon, which allow up to four people to ride together, creating a shared adventure full of twists and turns. For thrill-seekers, slides like Sidewinder deliver high-speed excitement, while those looking to relax can drift along the lazy river or cool off in the wave pool. Families with younger children aren’t left out either, kid-friendly areas like Pharaoh’s Phortress offer plenty of splash-worthy fun.
And no day in the sun is complete without great food. “Smokehouse BBQ hit the spot for me,” said Deanna, who described the food options as perfect for families and foodies alike. “They’ve also got a variety of food trucks and lots of cool treats to help beat the heat.”
Whether you’re planning a family getaway, a group outing, or just looking to make the most of your summer weekends or weekdays, Camelbeach is packed with opportunities for adventure and relaxation. “Whether you're chasing thrills or just want to kick back, there’s something here for everyone,” said Deanna. “We had such a fun day exploring Camelbeach. If you haven’t been yet, definitely make it part of your summer bucket list.”
