Hotel tax revenue supports organizations that drive tourism in Carbon Co.
Carbon County Commissioners and the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (PMVB) are pleased to announce a Carbon County Hotel Tax Disbursement Program Event Wednesday, October 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Blue Mountain Resort.
The PMVB will host the Educational Forum for nonprofit organizations to explain the Carbon County Hotel Tax Disbursement Program qualifications, process, and application. The program will include registration, networking and light refreshments at 5:30 p.m. until the educational forum begins at 6 p.m. The county and PMVB have provided funding for nonprofit organizations, their events, and related marketing support in recent years through the Carbon County Hotel Tax Disbursement Program.
Registration for this event is required. The deadline to register is Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 5 p.m.
The application submission period for 2026 is now open. Applications are due by January 30, 2026, for funding to be distributed on March 30, 2026.
