The Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (PMVB) hosted a region-wide hospitality job fair yesterday at three locations: Blue Mountain Resort, The Inn at Woodloch, and Kalahari Resorts & Conventions. More than 200 job seekers attended in-person, while others participated virtually. More than 90 employers, from the tourism industry and beyond, set up booths at the job fair. Many employers received applications from quality candidates, while other job seekers were hired on the spot.
“With the industry in dire need of employees, we are very happy with the outcome of this event,” said Marlyn Kissner, VP of Membership and Community Relations, Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau. “Collaboration between our local chambers, PA CareerLink, Pocono Counties Workforce Investment Area, the three resort hosts, and the PMVB proved to be a great success.”
Those who were unable to attend the job fair can check out the PMVB’s Job Openings Page, which is updated regularly to reflect the fun and exciting hospitality-related jobs that are currently available throughout the region. Opportunities include full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions ranging from entry to executive level.
