January 27, 2021 – From bartenders to mountain bike instructors, waterpark technicians to social media coordinators, there are hundreds of exciting hospitality-related jobs waiting to be filled in the Pocono Mountains. To help connect job seekers with open positions, the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (PMVB) has launched a Job Openings site. As businesses of all shapes and sizes struggle to find employees, this initiative bridges the gap between community members and our region’s top employers.

Jobs include full-time, part-time and seasonal positions. The Job Openings site serves as an employment hub, and its goal is to highlight an array of positions across the hospitality industry from entry to executive level.

“There is opportunity to work your way up over time and have a successful career in the hospitality industry,” said Brian Bossuyt, Executive Vice President & CMO of the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau. “As a teenager, I started out as a busser and lifeguard then became a ski instructor. I eventually accepted a marketing position for a local ski resort, which led to my current executive role with the PMVB.”

The Job Openings site will be updated as additional positions become available. Employment postings are reserved for members of the PMVB, although the PMVB may open the site to non-members sometime this spring.

Members should upload their job openings here. Businesses interested in becoming members of the PMVB can email [email protected] for more information.
