All Admission Proceeds to Benefit Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company #36
Shawnee Mountain Ski Area is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated Fireworks Spectacular on Friday, July 5, 2024, with a rain date scheduled for Sunday, July 7, 2024. The gates will open at 5:30 PM, inviting families, friends, and community members to enjoy an unforgettable evening under the stars.
This year, we’re relocating the seating and launch area to the beginner’s hill to provide an enhanced view of the fireworks and a spacious, flat space where you can comfortably bring your blankets and chairs. Admission is only $15 per carload, making it an affordable and fun outing for everyone. All admission proceeds from the event will be donated to the Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company, supporting their essential services and dedication to the community.
“We’re excited to host our annual fireworks display and bring the community together for a night of celebration,” said Rachel Wyckoff, marketing director at Shawnee Mountain Ski Area. “Supporting our local fire company is a cause that’s very close to our hearts, and we’re proud to contribute to their ongoing efforts to keep us safe.”
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure a great spot, plus enjoy food and beverages from local vendors before the fireworks begin. This year’s event will feature a variety of food trucks and live entertainment from DJ AJ Stack, ensuring a festive atmosphere for all. Don’t forget to bring blankets and lawn chairs to sit back and relax as the night sky bursts into color.
