Lehigh Gorge State Park
A deep, river-carved gorge, thick vegetation, rocky outcroppings and breathtaking waterfalls characterize the Lehigh Gorge State Park. The spectacular gorge that lends its name to this state park slices through the Pocono Plateau for nearly 20 miles, creating a dramatic landscape of steep slopes, rocky escarpments, and side streams that surge into waterfalls. Park trails offer a number of activity options and are accessible year-round; dogs welcome. Experience the park from three different access points; White Haven, Rockport and Glen Onoko. For safety reasons, the Glen Onoko Falls Trail is closed to hikers as of May 1, 2019.
