Time to hit the slopes! Pocono Mountains ski season is here. The region's six ski areas have opened for the season with exciting additions and enhancements to discover. Enjoy evening skiing with new LED slope lights that make the terrain 42% brighter, improve your skills at the Snow Sports Learning Center or spend the day at the bubly snow tubing park with two carpet lifts. This season: The home of Pennsylvania's highest vertical, Blue Mountain Resort has a new snow groomer and enhanced snowmaking technology, meaning you can expect exceptional powder all around the mountain, including on the country's largest snow tubing park, with up to 56 lanes, three carpet lifts, and nighttime Sonic Tubing! Discover the expansions to the Come Around, Lower Lazy, Falls and Lower Sidewinder trails and refuel at the refreshed food eateries including Beers & Buns on Burman.


Camelback Mountain

This season: With 166 acres, 39 trails, and five terrain parks, you'll never get bored skiing or snowboarding at Camelback Mountain. Available for a limited time, the new Peak-to-Peak Pocono Pass Reward for season passholders allows unlimited skiing and lift access to both Camelback Resort and Blue Mountain Resort. Sign up for new classes at the Ski & Ride Academy, check out eateries like Rakuda Ramen and enjoy effortless shopping using Amazon's Just Walk Out AI technology now enabled at Big Pocono On The Go. Have a blast snow tubing all day and all night on 42 lanes at their top-rated snow tubing park, which glows after dark with an LED light show. This season: Jack Frost Mountain is your ticket to experience the magic of the slopes in the Poconos! Beginners, families, and experts alike will find 20 inviting trails, nine lifts, and a terrain park to explore. This season's improvements include new energy-efficient snow guns that allowed Jack Frost to be the first ski resort in Pennsylvania to open this season. Don’t forget, your JFBB Epic Pass is good at both Jack Frost and its sister resort, Big Boulder.


Shawnee Mountain Ski Area

This season: Families, beginners, and experts will find 100% snowmaking providing fun and challenges on 23 trails at Shawnee Mountain Ski Area this season. Shawnee is committed to affordability with great deals for locals, sutdents, seniors, active-duty military members, and lodging packages at the nearby Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. Hop on one of the nine lifts, try the two terrain parks, have fun at the snow tubing park with two snow tubing lifts, or book a lesson at Shawnee’s premier learning center. Little ones will also love the Mini Monster Mountain with opportunities for snow play.


Ski Big Bear at Masthope Mountain

This season: Make memories at Ski Big Bear at Masthope Mountain this winter! Take advantage of skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing as well as on site rentals, with Rossignol skis added to the selection of over 1,600 skis and 500 snowboards available for rental. New and updated snow guns, pumps, and compressors enhance the 100% snow making and 18 trails at Ski Big Bear, with seven lifts, a terrain park, and two snow tubing lifts ensuring the whole family will have a fun day on the mountain. Ski Big Bear's ever-popular lessons are available for adults and children ready to get started on their skiing or snowboarding journey.
