Trails are open year-round at Pocono Environmental Education Center. While in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, discover other pathways in 70,000 acres of land including the Appalachian Trail on Mount Minsi. Here you’ll find hikes from easy to extreme, and can even catch a waterfall or two.

3. Ice Fishing
Try ice fishing this winter! With at least four inches of solid ice, head out on the frozen water and cut a hole to nab some fish. Weather permitting, go angling at one of the Poconos' parks and lakes like Lake Wallenpaupack.
